Dawn and David during the wedding reception at the
Water Club, New York City. There are two schools or thoughts regarding photography, this includes wedding photography also. One being a more straight forward approach, allowing the subjects to be themselves, level framing and so on. The other approach is to take it a step beyond documentation but into the realm of creating the shot. Looking for and creating tension and composition, allowing backgrounds and sometimes the people to blur. Looking for the suggestive story instead of the obvious. I am always on the prowl for the drama and the art in the photograph.
